2015: A Year To Remember

Goodbye to the best year of my life thus far.

Last year I made a….resolution, if you will, to really focus on myself and take risks. I remember getting ready for New Years Eve thinking, “Wow, I really feel like this is going to be a good year.” It was a feeling I’ve never felt before and was it spot on. It was an AMAZING year! I got a great internship turned job at an agency, booked a lead in a movie, met my phenomenal roommate/soul sister this summer, moved to the other side of the country (California), AND landed a job in Beverly Hills at a great salon! I feel overwhelmed with joy and like I’ve experienced things not everyone gets too. Dont play it safe. Life is worth living! Oh yeah, I also became a belieber. It was the year of JB, following your dreams, and not giving s f*ck.  I don’t necessarily believe in New Year resolutions. I tend to set goals throughout the years. It’s really fulfilling to push yourself and achieve something you thought was impossible. Good things come from positivity, how you treat people and hard work. I almost get addicted. I’m like okay what can I do next!? I’m in a business that isn’t forgiving and you always have to stay sharp on your toes. I have met some incredible people this year as well as lost more than I can count on both hands. Toxic relationships, whether it be platonic or romantic, should be left behind. The people that I have lost always have a special place in my heart but I’m not interested in wasting my time on them anymore. While you’re busy looking out for everyone else to be ok, who’s looking out for you?

My goals for 2016 are:

1. Keep my faith strong and grow with God.

2. Book a commercial

3. Have a rockin bod

4. Camp

5. Be active and hike

6. Snowboard at Big Bear

7. See the redwood trees

8. Stay positive

9. Stay focused

10. And NEVER give up.
