Find Your Place

Leaving California I want to cry. Not because I’m sad, but because I’m happy. I finally feel like I belong. I finally found a place to call home and rest my heart.

If you are lost, frustrated, wondering which way to turn, seek God. You don’t have to be religious or pray on a regular basis. He will guide you and find what’s meant for you. Trust your gut. It’s usually right. Who cares if it’s not what you’re “supposed” to be doing. That’s societies way of trying to keep you down. People are always going to want what they aren’t capable of achieving themselves. Don’t let them win. We all have different gifts. We’ve all been through struggle. Some people choose to use it as a crutch and others let it inspire them.

Make this world a better place to live in. Let’s help each other along the way and pay it forward with kindness.

Life doesn’t turn out how you plan it anyway. I’ve had plans from A-Z and every single one of them have failed. My life right now is better than I could have ever imagined. I don’t have much, but I’m happy. I thought I would be married by the time was 23 and I can’t imagine that happening in the next 6 months! I don’t even have a boyfriend. I realized the more I tried to conform to society, the further away I felt from my true self. I got sucked into the small town atmosphere. I feel more in touch with my five-year-old-self then ever. That’s when your dreams are formed and possibilities are endless . They can come true. They do.

I have no idea what I’m doing but that’s what makes it interesting. My life is better than anything I could have planned.
Stay true to yourself. Trust yourself. Believe in yourself. And never EVER settle.
